Partnership with a Law Firm
We welcome proposals for professional partnerships with specialists and companies abroad. We are interested in cooperation on specific legal and related assignments, with defined expertise, geographical coverage and responsibilities. We agree the working arrangements, fees and communication process before referring any assignments.
01Key Information
Who Can Submit a Partnership Proposal
Proposals may be submitted by law firms, independent lawyers, notaries, language agencies, real estate professionals, accountancy practices and audit firms. We also consider properly structured involvement in debt-related, investigative and investment assignments within the scope of lawful professional activity.
Countries and territories previously identified for partner recruitment include Japan, the UAE, Pakistan, Georgia, South Korea, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong. Seeking partners does not mean that services are already available in those jurisdictions. We confirm the ability to undertake work and the precise geographical coverage separately.
What to Include in Your Proposal
Provide your organisation’s name or your professional name, country and city, specialism, working languages and contact details. Explain which tasks you can undertake, what requires local authority to practise or act, and how representation is arranged. It helps to distinguish your own work from tasks handled by other professionals from the outset.
Do not include confidential client documents in your initial message. The purpose, necessity and method of sharing them must be agreed first. A particular matter may require a conflict-of-interest check, confirmation of authority to act and separate agreement on the terms of involvement.
Agreeing the Form of Cooperation
We can discuss a single assignment, reciprocal referrals or a longer-term relationship. The scope of work, fees, reporting, preparation times and additional costs are agreed for the chosen arrangement. A partnership does not guarantee client numbers or automatically entitle a partner to every enquiry from a particular territory.
For a general explanation of how we work together, see the page on cooperation page. The Business Legal Consulting model has separate terms and does not arise simply because a partnership assignment has been agreed. You can submit a proposal through our contact page.
How We Work
Frequently Asked Questions
Who is the international partnership page for?
Law firms, lawyers and related professionals offering assistance with defined tasks and geographical coverage.
What should a partnership proposal include?
Your professional status, country and city, specialism, working languages, contact details and specific services offered.
Does a partnership guarantee client referrals?
No. Referral volumes and exclusive geographical rights do not arise automatically from partnership discussions.
Should client documents be sent with the proposal?
No. Necessity, purpose and sharing arrangements must be agreed first, with conflict checks where needed.
Does recruiting partners mean services already operate in that country?
No. Seeking professionals is different from confirmed availability to accept a particular instruction.
